Vegetable weed garden
Did you know vegetables will regrow themselves just like weeds do?
If left in the ground, vegetables will sprout a flower and drop seeds all over, that regrow themselves each season without any effort.
Here is the set up:
1 Pick up some unchopped veggies from the store (radishes, carrots with carrot tops, lettuce (with roots preferably), see list below... Then at home, simply stick them right into the ground!
- They will flower and drop seeds all over. It's fun to see a veggie from grocery store put into the ground and grow.
2 Some vegetables, if left in a brown bag for two to three weeks will grow roots; you can then plant those veggies right in the ground. Eg
- Celery, Leeks, Asparagus, Artichokes, Rhubarb, MIni Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes...
3 Option: Throw in the ground a few seeds (from seed bags) from store.

Instead of pulling all the vegetables next season, leave a few in the ground, they flower and drop seeds all over the ground that regrow themself each season without effort.
